Hourly Wage: $24.27 per hour. -
Certification Stipend: An additional $1.00 per hour stipend is available for candidates who hold and maintain qualifying trade certifications (e.g., HVAC, Journeyman Electrician, Master Plumber). -

Preventative & Routine Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections and perform scheduled maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to ensure peak performance and longevity. -
Rapid Response Repairs: Efficiently diagnose and resolve structural, mechanical, and electrical issues. Address maintenance tickets promptly to minimize classroom disruptions. -
Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of facility upgrades. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed. -
Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and NYS safety regulations. Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a secure campus environment. -
Facility Stewardship: Maintain accurate logs of repairs, inspections, and project milestones using district systems. Qualifications -
Experience: Proven experience in commercial building maintenance; experience within a school or municipal setting is highly preferred. -
Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and general carpentry/construction. -
Equipment: Skilled in the safe operation of power tools, diagnostic equipment, and facility machinery. -
